Paxi Cutler — Center Director
Paxi earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Dakota. While pursuing her degree, Paxi worked at the local preschool and childcare center in Vermillion. After graduation, she worked as a long-term substitute teacher for the Sioux City Community School District.
She strives to meet the needs of each family and each individual child. While attending USD, Paxi had the opportunity to have an NAEYC president as a professor (Gera Jacobs). Paxi finds great interest in using the National Association for the Education of Young Children as a resource for developing policies, curriculum, and standards for our center.
Having the opportunity to grow and learn in continuing education is also very important to Paxi, as she is always looking for the latest in early childhood education, as well as taking every opportunity to attend courses and trainings to grow as a teacher and as a director. She is motivated and eager to grow with this center, as teaching and children's best interests are extremely important to her!
It is important that all staff in our center continue to grow by continuing their own education, to better the education of each child.
